It was the 50th anniversary of the existence of the Greater Cleveland LGBT+ Center. Thousands came out to the popular event, including the Cleveland Pride Marching Band, dignitaries, community organizations, activists, vendors, and a host of local mainstream and other media. This year's event highlighted anti-LGBTQ+ legislation coming out of Washington, D.C. under President Donald Trump. King's Black defense attorney, Charles Tyler, filed an affidavit of disqualification against Gallagher with a trial date originally set for this week, seeking her removal from the case. It, via an amended filing, awaits a determination by Ohio Supreme Court Chief Justice Sharon Kennedy on the matter.
