Tamir Rice's mother fires her attorneys, community activists applaud the firing....The family hires Attorney Subodh Chandra to prosecute wrongful death lawsuit, Chandra is a former law director under former Cleveland Mayor Jane Campbell, and a former Democratic candidate for Cuyahoga County prosecutor....Judge Adrine's refusal to issue arrest warrants against police that shot and killed Tamir even after finding probable cause for criminal charges in response to the citizen affidavit for criminal charges filed by community activists is also at issue....Chandra says that state law requires the arrest warrants, Adrine says the criminal rules require a complaint first and that only a prosecutor can bring criminal complaints in Ohio....Activists continue the plight to bypass prosecutors like Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Tim McGinty, whom activists says is is pro-police and anti-Black, for criminal charges against police...By Cleveland Urban News.Com, Ohio's leader in Black digital news
