"It's not going to be as pervasive," Dr. Scott Gottlieb, former commissioner of the US Food and Drug Administration, said Sunday on CBS's Face the Nation. "It's going to hyper-regionalized. There's certain pockets of the country where you're going to have very dense outbreaks."  Gottlieb said the Delta Variant will likely target southern communities and  that those with lower vaccination rates and lower rates of prior infection are the most vulnerable.  About 46 percent of the  country's population...

Rudy Giuliani This is the lead-in to a CNN article b y Erica Orden,   Veronica Stracqualursi   and   Katelyn Polantz , CNN Updated 9:55 PM ET, Thu June 24, 2021 (CNN)- Rudy Giuliani,  the former personal lawyer for former President Donald Trump who once held one of the legal profession's most prestigious jobs, was suspended Thursday from practicing law in New York state by an appellate court that found he made "demonstrably false and misleading statements" about the 2020 election. In a ruling released following disciplinary proceedings , the court concluded that "there is uncontroverted evidence" that Giuliani, the former Manhattan US attorney, "communicated demonstrably false and misleading statements to courts, lawmakers and the public at large in his capacity as lawyer for former President Donald J. Fudge joined President Joe Biden's cabinet as secretary of Housing and Urban Development.
