President Trump's State of the Union address panned as orchestrated lies, and 'Blacks were the only people brought to America in chains,' says state Representative Bill Patmon of Cleveland as to Trump's harassment of immigrants whom Trump says use 'chain migration' when they bring relatives into America as permitted by law..... Governor John Kasich names Ohio Supreme Court replacement for Democratic Justice Bill O'Neil, a gubernatorial candidate, making the all White court majority female and all Republican....Blacks have never been elected to the Ohio Supreme Court, though a few tried the endeavor, including former congresswoman the late Stephanie Tubbs Jones, former Cleveland judge C. Ellen Conally, also a former Cuyahoga County Council president, and former state appellate judges Sara Harper and Yvette McGee Brown, who was appointed to the state's high court in 2011 but lost election for the seat in 2012.....O'Neil bragged on Facebook of allegedly sleeping with 50 'very attractive' women and said that the MeToo movement is a feeding frenzy that disappoints him.... O'Neil quits only four years into his six-year term, an exit that opened the door for Kasich to replace him with a Republican to make the state's high court all Republican.....O'Neil has chosen Chantelle Lewis, who is Black and a former East Cleveland City Council member, as his lieutenant governor running mate.... Newly appointed Ohio Supreme Court Justice Mary DeGenaro, a Republican and  former 7th District Court of Appeals judge whom term-limited Gov. John Kasich, also a Republican, appointed on Thursday to replace Justice William O'Neil,  the only Democrat on the state's high court who will quit this week as to his pursuit of the Democratic nomination for governor, state law of which precludes Ohio judges from seeking election to a non-judicial office. Kasich's appointment of DeGenaro to the all-White Ohio Supreme Court makes it's judicial make-up majority female and all -Republican.
