CLEVELAND, Ohio-Former President Barack Obama, the nation's first Black president who served two consecutive terms in the White House, will visit Cleveland, Ohio on Oct. 24, 2026 ahead of the Nov. 3 midterm elections to stomp for Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Sherrod Brown of Ohio and Dr. Amy Acton, the Democratic candidate for Ohio governor.

The event will begin at 1 pm and seating is limited, organizers said. The location of the gathering is pending.

Democrats hope to flip both the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate as Donald Trump's approval rating is below 36%, and at an time low for the Republican president who rallied for Republicans in Youngstown, Ohio earlier this week, and told supporters to vote as if he is on this year's ballot.
