For three days, teenagers from across the country competed in various athletic challenges, individually and in teams, all of them opting for a share of $250,000 in college scholarships. The president called the event "exciting" while onstage presenting the scholarships to the winning athletes, a male and a female. He waved to the crowd, and U.S. Sen.
