CLEVELANDURBANNEWS.COM, CLEVELAND,Ohio— Two  young Black women, 18 and 19-years-old, were among four decomposing bodies identified by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner and found Saturday in an abandoned home on the block of East 144th Street and Kinsman Avenue on Cleveland's largely Black east side, the other two bodies those of two young Black men. 

The medical examiner ruled the deaths homicides by multiple gunshot wounds. 

Dead are Jazmyne Lawson, 18, of Cleveland,  Dejuan Wills, 20, and Christopher Monroe, 23, both of Cleveland, and Aiyanna Quitman, 19, of Euclid.

Police have no suspects and community activists are calling for the killer or killers to be apprehended, indicted, and brought to justice in a swift manner.

"This is another serial killing, one that has occurred blocks away from Imperial Avenue where serial killer Anthony Sowell strangled and murdered 11 Black women and raped three others and we want the suspect or suspects apprehended and brought to justice without delay," said  longtime Cleveland activist Kathy Wray Coleman, who leads the Imperial Women Coalition, the grassroots group founded relative to the Imperial Avenue Murders.

Black on Black Crime activist Alfred Porter Jr. said there has been "no progress since the Imperial Avenue Murders."

Some of the four victims were identified through dental records and police said Friday that the home were the four murders occurred is a suspected drug house. 

 A neighborhood resident called 911 about 5:30 a.m. Friday and reported that an odd smell was coming from the home were the four decomposing bodies were found, authorities said, similar to 2009 when police, after ignoring complaints of an odd smell also in the Mount Pleasant Neighborhood blocks away on Imperial Avenue, pulled 11 dead Black women from that since demolished home, serial killer Anthony Sowell, who sits on death row, later convicted on 82 of 83 counts, including 11 counts of aggravated murder and the rape of three Black women who escaped his wrath.
