Bibb joined Chief Prosecutor Aqueelah Jordan, Law Director Mark Griffin, and City Council President Blaine Griffin at the Justice Center in downtown Cleveland earlier this year as Jordan and Griffin filed a motion in the Cleveland Municipal Court clerk's office for judges to hold hearings to possibly expunge 4,077 records of low-level marijuana convictions dating back to 2017.  But because under state law only the impacted individual has standing to seek to expunge a  criminal record in Ohio, the  city's prosecutor and law director withdrew the motion...

Her attorney had requested progressive discipline that would have permitted Carr to stay on the bench and told the court that her client began having issues only in the past two years and that she accepted responsibility for her behavior. COLUMBUS, Oho — The Equal Districts Coalition   —  a group of over 30 Ohio advocacy organizations and labor unions engaged in the redistricting process relative to state legislative and U.s House of Representative seats from Ohio  — released the following statement after Republicans announced that they will appeal Ohio's congressional map to the U.S. Supreme Court:  "Ohio's top Republicans must assume Ohioans have incredibly short memories.
