This gritty, thought-provoking drama focuses on the lives of three generations of Black women whose choices create dire consequences. Through the intersection of comedy, drama, and soulful music, one family clan is forced to endure the devastating aftermath of secrets, lies, scandal, betrayal, and generational curses.

Carr’s body of work, including the stage plays Tomorrow, The Mirror on the Wall, City Lights, If He Ain’t Mr. Right He’s Mr. Wrong, Choices, and Hard Times, has always examined the human condition in a riveting and haunting way that does not sugarcoat, but instead exposes the harsh realities of life.

"Children of the Night' brings awareness to issues such as domestic violence, sex trafficking, and infidelity and premier's just two days after National Missing Children's Day, which is May 25.
