The protest scheduled for 3 pm on Sat., Sept. 25, 2010 in front of the home of Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson at 2327 E.38th St. and Central Ave. will go forward as was determined by a vote last month at the home of Community Activist Don Bryant, President of the Greater Cleveland Immigrant Support Network and a leader of the People's Forum. Also involved are the Imperial Women, Cleveland FIST, the Oppressed People's Nation and members of Stop Targeting Ohio's Poor, Black on Black Crime Inc. and the Carl Stokes Brigade.
We shall address the illegal mistreatment and illegal prosecutions and police and prosecutorial misconduct against Black women, including the Imperial Ave. murder victims, the Collinwood High School girls maliciously prosecuted for a peaceful protest over Cleveland schools layoffs and school closings, and the Rebecca Whitby "nigger" name calling and alleged police brutality case. Additionally, we shall address the dearth of police sensitivity training as for the branding by police of Angel Bradley- Crocket as a "dear" when her naked and murdered body lay along highway I-90- in Cleveland earlier this year. Moreover, we shall address the danger of allowing a judges like Municipal Court Judge Kathleen Ann Keough to sentence Black journalists and activists for a fictitious charge of resisting arrest without an accusation from arresting officer Gerald Pace in exchange for an endorsement for a run for an appellate seat by Jackson and his appointed law director and quasi chief prosecutor, Robert Triozzi.
We also have concerns where Jackon's appointed school board targeted a disproportionate number of Black female assistant principals and principals of Cleveland schools to layoff this year in violation of state law where they were denied the prior intent to layoff notice required in March of this year---Finally, we want Jackson to diversify his all non- Black and all non-female law enforcement leadership team where he has no Blacks or women as law director, chief prosecutor, safety director, chief of police and EMS commissioner in a majority Black and largely female major metropolitan city.
I have been threatened with an illegal trial in Berea Municipal Court two days before the protest that was scheduled today if I don't back off where the Chief Justice of the Ohio Supreme Court (recently appointed Chief Justice Eric Brown whom we hope will lose to Justice Maureen O'Connor in November as to the election for the seat). He sent his non- judge friend down from Toledo Ohio. She is former Toledo Judge Mary Trimboli who neither retired nor sought reelection and she is allegedly corrupt and has denied even an arraignment before trial that is required to apprise harassed Blacks of their constitutional and statutory rights--The FBI is allegedly investigating the activity, but since I am a Black woman we question whether Trimboli can get away with illegal activity and the only reason a non-judge from Toledo has been assigned is to fix cases like Keough does for Jackson in the Cleveland Municipal Court. Though my attorney was behind the car wheel, I was given a fictitious citation for alleged weaving and a charge of failing to give my name and he received a ride home without even a traffic citation, in spite of an expired driver's license. All are lies and anybody that wants to arrest me for fighting for fair treatment of Black women and others via articles and community activism as to the protest can find us in front of Jackson's house-We are going forward regardless of the threats and harassment from Judge Keough and in the Berea Municipal Court and tentative rally speakers that have confirmed are as follows:
Don Bryant- President of the Greater Cleveland Immigrant Support Network and member of the People's Forum, the Imperial Women and Black on Black Crime
Tina Bronaugh- Member of the Imperial Women and mother of harassed Collinwood High School protesting students Destiny Bronaugh and her 17-year-old sister where Jackson had his appointed law director bring illegal criminal charges on behalf of the city against Destini to flex his muscle and to get at the Cleveland Teachers Union where they were protesting teacher layoffs
Denise Hunter-Member of the Imperial Women and sister of Imperial Ave. Murder Victim Amelda Hunter (Amelda was murdered after Jackson's all non-Black law enforcement leadership team released alleged serial killer Anthony Sowell from police custody and from jail and branded the attempted rape complaint of a Black woman "not credible." Sowell was released during an upcoming election year for mayor and Jackson's niece lived with Sowell during the time of the alleged murders by Sowell, who is awaiting trial on the issue-- We want an immediate criminal investigation as to why Sowell was released in 2008 in spite of a probable cause finding of attempted rape that caused his arrest--If the Black woman was credible enough for his arrest than a jury should have been allowed to determine his fate--How can an alleged serial killer be released from jail following a credible attempted rape complaint while Black women are illegally jailed and prosecuted under the watch of a so-called Black mayor and his criminal minded political appointees?)

Larry Hicks- Father whose African-American son was this year convicted of murder and sentenced to 61 years in prison by Cuyahoga Judge Daniel Gaul (a judge awaiting Supreme Court determination as to a recommendation for suspension by the Ohio Supreme Court's Office of Disciplinary Counsel) and the judge trial judge denied a motion for a mistrial where jurors were allegedly taking phone calls from outside sources during deliberations, an illegal and unconstitutional gesture
