Kevin Stefanski CLEVELAND, Ohio- The Cleveland Browns have hired 37-year-old Kevin Stefanski to replace the fired Freddie Kitchens, a one season coach who, in mid-season last year, replaced the fired Hue Jackson, who is Black . A string of probable replacements were considered, and, among others, the Browns also interviewed Philadelphia Eagles defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz,  N ew England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels,  and San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh, who is Arab-American. A native of Philadelphia, Stefanski joined the Minnesota Vikings in 2006 as an assistant to former head coach  Brad Childress . In 2017, after the termination of Scott Turner, Stefanski was promoted to coach the Vikings quarterbacks, where he helped transform the Vikings into the NFL's 10th-highest scoring offense.
