CLEVELAND, Ohio-Women's March Cleveland has announced its keynote speakers for a local march to the national women's march that will be held on Oct 8, 2022 at 1:30pm at Market Square Park at West 25th Street and Lorain Ave near downtown Cleveland across from the Westside Market.  For more information contact Women's March Cleveland at 216-659-0473.

Keynote speakers are state Sen Nickie Antonio, lt governor Democratic nominee Cuyahoga County Councilwoman Cheryl Stephens, Ohio attorney general Democratic nominee state Rep Jeff Crossman, and community activists Genevieve Mitchell and Sandra Hardwick, whose daughter, Britney Hardwick, 22, was murdered in a car in the family's home driveway two years ago in Cleveland's Collinwood neighborhood with the assailant still at large. 

Cuyahoga County poet laureate Honey-Bell Bey is also scheduled to perform at the event. 

Oct 8 is a national day of action for women. Currently, Women's March Cleveland has the largest sister march in the country for Oct 8 on FACEBOOK, according to Facebook event pages for the events.

Abortion access and voting are the primary focus of the event, organizers said. Other issues include domestic violence, rape, murder, racism, sexism, education, jobs, equal pay, climate change, health care, and immigration and police reform. The fight for women in Iran and other parts of the world who are fighting for freedom and equity across the board will also be addressed at the rally and march, activists said, coupled with a special presentation for women in Iran who are currently on the frontline for freedom, justice, and equality for women. 

Community activist groups endorsing Women's March Cleveland's aforementioned Oct 8 event include International Women's Day March Cleveland, Imperial Women Coalition, Carl Stokes Brigade, Brickhouse Wellness Center, Laura Cowan Foundation, March For Our Lives, Black Women's PAC of Ohio and Greater Cleveland, National Congress of Black Women of Greater Cleveland, Standup4AbortionRights, Sista to Sista, Justice For Britney Hardwick, members of the Cuyahoga Democratic Women's Caucus and the Poor People's Campaign, and more.

Corrupt and racist University Heights Mayor Susan Infeld is booted from office by voters following claims of spending irregularities of taxpayers money, racism against Black residents, police abuse of Blacks as city safety director, and of running a theft ring of county residents homes via illegal foreclosure activity led by JPMorgan Chase Bank.....University Heights is a Cleveland suburb....Others involved in the theft ring or retaliation against homeowners who complain include corrupt common pleas judges such as Judges John O'Donnell and Carolyn Friedland, Chief County Foreclosure Magistrate and University Heights Resident Stephen Bucha, and his wife, an attorney with the law firm of Lerner Sampson and Rothfuss, who represents corrupt mortgage companies and banks, including JP Morgan Chase Bank... Ousted University Heights Mayor Susan Infeld, whom voters booted out of office Tuesday evening following claims of racism against Black residents, and alleged theft in office, and because she is running a theft ring in the city of illegal foreclosures on the homes of Cuyahoga County residents along with a corrupt and racist police department that she leads as safety director. Ohio Supreme Court strips chief Cuyahoga County judge of power: Chief and unfair Cuyahoga County Judge John Russo loses authority-Part 2 of a multi-part series on Cuyahoga County public corruption: New Ohio law on seeking possible removal of a municipal court judge in a case for bias or conflict via the filing of an affidavit of prejudice takes authority to decide from chief Cuyahoga County Presiding and Administrative Judge John Russo, other chief common pleas judges in Ohio, and hands it to the chief justice of the Ohio Supreme Court, who also determines affidavits of prejudice filed against common pleas, probate, juvenile, domestic relations, and state appellate court judges....Most affidavits of prejudice are denied regardless of the merits and some judges complained of will retaliate, data show...
