CLEVELAND, Ohio- During a rain drenching ballgame, and with Myles Garrett on the inactive list for now after testing positive for COVID-19, the Cleveland Browns beat the Philadelphia Eagles 22-17 on Sunday at FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland, the Browns delivering their second straight win and inching closer to a guaranteed playoff spot.

The win moves the Browns to 2nd in the AFC North.

Pundits said that Philadelphia simply "looked awful."

The Browns are now 7-3 as the Eagles fall to 3-6-1. 

Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski called Sunday's win for his team "a beautiful win for the guys." 

Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield completed 12 of 22 passes and finished with 204 yards and no interceptions for a third straight game.

Cleveland rushed for 86 of its 137 yards in the fourth quarter, Nick Chubb, who finished with 114 yards, running for 54 yards and setting up Cleveland's game winning touchdown by Kareem Hunt, who hurdled across the goal line to put his team on top.

Eagles Quarterback Carson Wentz threw two interceptions, including a pick, and finished 21-of-35 for 235 yards.

Playoff hopes aside, the Browns have six more regular season games, four on the road and two home games against Pittsburgh and Baltimore.

The next scheduled game is an away game on Nov. 29 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Ousted University Heights Mayor Susan Infeld, whom voters booted out of office Tuesday evening following claims of racism against Black residents, and alleged theft in office, and because she is running a theft ring in the city of illegal foreclosures on the homes of Cuyahoga County residents along with a corrupt and racist police department that she leads as safety director.
