CLEVELAND, Ohio-President Barack Obama, the 44th president of the United States, and America's first Black president, will deliver an address on the importance of middle class economics at the Convention Center in downtown Cleveland, Ohio on Wednesday, March 18. 

The event will be streamlined at www.whitehouse.gov/live. , and is being hosted by the City Club. It is limited to City Club members, their guests, a few dignitaries, and the media. 

The president last visited Cleveland in 2013 when he toured the Arcelor Mittal steel plant on the city's east side.

Tickets can be reserved only by City Club members, who will be able to reserve two (2) total tickets. Not a member? Join  here. at the City Club website.

Tickets are free, and a limited number will be available beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, March 16.   Call 216.621.0082 to reserve tickets.

When reserving tickets, interested persons must be prepared to provide their name, and the name of their guests, and a telephone number and email address, which are also required for admittance to the event, organizers said.

Reservations made via email or left on voice mail over the weekend will not be honored.

Participants  must be able to pick up tickets to the event at the City Club offices on Monday, March 16 and will be advised of when to do so via email. Tickets and a photo ID are required for admittance into the event.

Founded in 1912, and dubbed the citadel of free speech, the City Club sponsors non-partisan forums with guest speakers, monthly issue roundtables, and high school debate championships.
