Allegedly corrupt and racist Cleveland Municipal Court Judge Kathleen Ann Keough is trying to keep paid attorney Wayne Kerek on the malicious prosecution case before her for harassment purposes involving Cleveland area Journalist Kathy Wray Coleman. Kerek withdrew on Monday as required by the Ohio Lawyer's Professional Code of Responsibility where he is a witness against the 16-year journalist in a harassment case that he set up in Middleburg Hts. Coleman allegedly fired him and the Ohio Lawyer's Professional Code of Responsibility says that an attorney must withdraw if fired unless the rules of the applicable tribunal say otherwise. And since the Local Rules of the Cleveland Municipal Court say that a judge can only keep an attorney on a case if he has been appointed and Kerek was hired and paid by Coleman and her father, Dr. James M. Coleman, he was required to withdraw after Coleman terminated his services.

"I will not be appearing anymore in this case and Judge Keough cannot legally force me to violate the ethics rules just because of her obsession with harassing Kathy," said Kerek. Kerek called the judge corrupt and he previously told Cleveland NAACP Executive Director Stanley Miller that he believes she is "mentally unbalanced."

Keough is now under investigation by the FBI for tampering with the case docket and public records in the case, a felony offense if she is charged. Coleman says that the judge is blinded by racism and is intent on sentencing her for her bogus resisting arrest charge when sole White male arresting officer Gerald Pace did not accuse her of it and she was denied her constitutional right to confrontation. The judge refuses to correct illegal case docket entries that lie and say Coleman was convicted of aggravated disorderly conduct.

Coleman said that she is meeting with an attorney on Friday who will probably take the case and that Keough wants Kerek to stay on it so that he can harass her via his ineptness and his deliberate failure to object to the judge's ongoing illegal activities.

"She is in my opinion a nut that has gone over the edge and should recuse herself from the case, " said Coleman of Keough. "And she is angry because her days of harassing Blacks and women are numbered where when I file a complaint with the bar she must by case law be suspended for harassing me and entering orders impacting my substantial rights when an affidavit of prejudice was pending against her."

Coleman said that Keough acts like a sick puppy and an obsessed lover, though she says she is not gay but supports gay rights. "She reminds me of a dog I had that followed me around when I was a kid and an old boyfriend in college who did not know when to back down," said Coleman. "She must be very unhappy in her private life."

The controversy centers around what Coleman says is retaliation by Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson and others for some previous 38 articles that she wrote around racism and the reduction in Cleveland City Council that were published in the Call and Post Newspaper the year the prosecution before Keough initiated. The journalist says she is also a target because of her community activism and a lawsuit previously filed in the Ohio Eighth District Court of Appeals via a writ of prohibition that sought compliance with the law as to the assignment process to replace removed municipal court judges in Ohio. Coleman says that they are often replaced with retired out-of-town judges by the Chief Justice of the Ohio Supreme Court and that in the past some of those judges would come to town, harass Democrats and outspoken people, and then run back home without any accountability to the community. She says that state law requires sitting judges from the county were the recused or disqualified judge presides.

Grassroots activists say they will picket Jackson if Keough's harassment continues because he had law director Robert Triozzi initiate the illegal prosecution where Keough was allegedly assigned to harass Coleman in exchange for Jackson's endorsement this year for an open seat on the Ohio Eighth District Court of Appeals. While he endorsed Keough, Jackson would not endorse any of the three Black women running for judge in the May Democratic primary and all three lost. The mayor is also under fire for rendering Blacks and women unqualified to lead as to his law enforcement leadership team where he has no Blacks or women as law director, safety director, chief of police, chief prosecutor or EMS commissioner in a majority Black and largely female major metropolitan city.

"Judge Keough is doing what sell out Frank Jackson tells her to do and while she may get away with the illegal sentencing it will come with a tarnished reputation as to her harassment of Blacks and women, " said Coleman. "I have done my job and I hope it helps others that go before whom I view as a deranged woman and pitiful piece of a judge and that become a target of Jackson's wrath."
