The bipartisan legislation is co-spo nsored by Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) and after passing both the House and Senate now heads to President Joe Biden's desk to be signed into law. It opens the door for grants and related research on the identification and preservation of African American burial grounds nationwide.
