Officers and executive committee members of the Cleveland branch NAACP have agreed to meet with members of the Imperial Women and leaders of a host of other grassroots factions for a discussion around the Imperial Avenue Murders and other matters impacting greater Cleveland's Black and other communities.

Cleveland NAACP Executive Director the Rev. Stanley Miller said he expects the Imperial Women and other grassroots factions at its general meeting on Jan 11 at 6 pm at its headquarters, 2131 Stokes Blvd in Cleveland.

"We are expecting you and I am working to get you on the agenda," Miller told Kathy Wray Coleman, a local journalist and leader of the Imperial women.

Among members of the Imperial Women that will attend are family members of 11 Black women whose remains were uncovered a year ago on Imperial Avenue In Cleveland's impoverished Mt. Pleasant neighborhood.

Contacts from the grassroots venues are Kathy Wray Coleman at 216-932-3114, Don Bryant at 440-623-0492, Judy Martin at 216-990-0679, Tina Bronaugh at 216-253-6484, Marva Patterson at 216-334-7013, Ada Averyhart at 216-645-0804, Ernest Smith at 216-526-3637 and Art McKoy at 216-253-4070.

"Other than the Imperial Avenue Murders we have never seen such strong interest and commitment to attend a meeting in recent years," said Coleman, who said she has been threatened and harassed by elected officials including Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Judge Timothy McGinty because one request of the grassroots factions is for municipal and common pleas judges throughout Ohio to be replaced with sitting judges by computer generated random draw when they are removed or voluntarily recuse themselves from civil and criminal cases for fair play. And they want the Ohio State Legislature to either amend Ohio Revised Codes 2701.03 and 2701.031 or come up with a law addressing the issue where the groups say that hand picking hanging judges like Cuyahoga Judge Daniel Gaul to replace judges like Cuyahoga Judge Stuart Friedman following conflict in a common pleas court criminal case is a way to fix sentencing and target Blacks associated with labor leaders, community activism, and otherwise.

"I was told that if I did not back off of fighting relative to the Imperial Avenue Murders , Black women, the illegal judicial assignment processes and otherwise, the pint size judge name McGinty with the world's greatest Napoleon complex would harass me and that the law does not matter," said Coleman," who was jailed for four days with McGinty's help and held naked for her community activism and writings in the Call and Post Newspaper in 2008 and then released without charges with the help of retired judge and attorney Sara J. Harper. "This man [McGinty] knows that in his case of harassment of me that he has no jurisdiction where the all White attorneys representing the racist cities of Shaker Hts and Beachwood and others harassing me must file a new civil complaint for a random draw judge and we will be watching to see if newly elected Republican Ohio Supreme Court Chief Justice Maureen O'Connor lets McGinty carry on his illegal agenda via an upcoming affidavit of prejudice to be filed with her and a bar complaint."

Coleman said that her attorney will file a petition for a writ of prohibition wth the Ohio Supreme Court as to McGinty's lack of jurisdiction in harassing her and
his efforts to silence free speech via an obsession with the Black female journalist that brings his mental ability into question.

McGinty has come under fire for being a source against Blacks and others to the Cleveland Plain Dealer Newspaper, Ohio's largest, releasing private medical and mental health records of Black defendants to the media, and issuing orders for innocent Black men to serve prison time for allegedly violating probation when the probation period is up, a state appellate court subsequently ruled.

Other organizations joining the Imperial Women to meet with Cleveland NAACP President George Forbes, Miller, branch lawyers James Hardiman and Lawrence Floyd and others active with the Civil Rights organization include Survivors and Victims of Tragedy, the Carl Stokes Brigade and the People's Forum.

The Oppressed People's Nation, Stop Targeting Ohio's Poor, the Lucasville Uprising Freedom Network, and People for the Imperial Act are among others
also slated for the community session, Coleman said.

Coleman said that during two coalition meetings held last month the leaders of the participating grassroots factions decided that group members will, with permission from NAACP leaders, raise in part the following concerns to the Cleveland NAACP executive committee and organizational officers at the January meeting:

-The request for support for the dismissal of all criminal charges before Cleveland Municipal Court Judge Kathleen Ann Keough against Destini Bronaugh, 19, the Collinwood High School graduate subject to malicious prosecution by Cleveland Law Director Robert Triozzi and the City of Cleveland in retaliation for a peaceful student protest at the school in May around school closings and teacher layoffs. (Note: We also seek an investigation of police conduct around this issue and a report to the community. And for the record Judge Keough has been replaced, though we reference her as still sitting in the Cleveland Municipal Court seat for purposes of this article to highlight the impropriety and we expect her replacement to dismiss the charges that Judge Keough would not dismiss due to her relationships with those that assisted her in winning in November, a seat on the Ohio Eighth District Court of Appeals).

-The request for support for the dismissal of all criminal charges against college student Rebecca Whitby, 25, and her mother, also named Rebecca Whitby, that came after an internal police complaint that the younger Whitby was called a "nigger" and beat up by Cleveland Fifth District Police without just cause, an elderly White neighbor says. (Note: We also seek an investigation of police conduct around this issue and a report to the community as to whether Rebecca Whitby was called "nigger" by police who have yet to be punished by the non-minority City of Cleveland safety director and chief of police).

-The request for support for the dismissal of the erroneous guilty verdict of resisting arrest leveled against journalist Kathy Wray Coleman via prosecutorial misconduct and arbitrary behavior by Cleveland Municipal Court Judge Kathleen Ann Keough in retaliation for her community emails and articles in the Call and Post Newspaper and elsewhere, and her community activism. (Note: The illegal harassment by Keough and her Illegal attempts to sentence Coleman for allegedly resisting arrest when illegally arrested In 2008 come without even a complaint or testimony as required under the Sixth Amendment from sole White male arresting sheriff's deputy Gerald Pace. Coleman says that she has been repeatedly harassed and has been threatened and illegally arrested and jailed since 2008 with the help of certain Black leaders that took money and prestige over fair play and compliance with state and federal law around the malicious prosecution undertaken by the City of Cleveland at the hands of Cleveland Law Director Robert Triozzi, Keough's friend and attorney of record, as well as a former Cleveland Municipal Court judge himself).

-The request that assignments of criminal and all other cases to Cleveland Municipal Court judges be by random draw as required by the due process clause of the Fourteenth Amendment rather than personal selection of cases to judges like Judge Keough, often times for arbitrary purposes.

-The assignment of a licensed mental health professional instead of Cleveland Municipal Court Judge Kathleen Ann Keough over the Cleveland Municipal Court Psychiatric Clinic per state law and an investigation of the number of people erroneously referred to the clinic for financial, political and harassment purposes.

- The reorganizing of the City of Cleveland's top level law enforcement leadership team to reflect decision making activity that does not disenfranchise Blacks and women and that addresses a diversified model of leadership in the predominantly Black major metropolitan city where there are no Blacks or women as law director, safety director, chief of police, EMS commissioner, or chief prosecutor.

- An investigation as to the reassignment process of municipal and common pleas judges replaced in cases of bias or conflict of the sitting judge with a push for statutory legislation that requires assignments by computer generated random draw at all times.

-An immediate investigation as to the release from custody in 2008 of serial killing suspect Anthony Sowell in spite of a credible and since prosecuted complaint by Gladys Wade, who said she was subjected to an attempted rape by Sowell in 2008 but got away. Six of the 11 murdered women of Imperial Avenue were murdered after Sowell's release from custody in 2008. (Note: Sowell is now in custody and awaiting trial on numerous counts of murder, kidnapping and rape, among other charges).

-The necessity for a fair trial relative to the Joaquin Hicks case and other cases impacting young Black men, women and others prosecuted by the State of Ohio in the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas and sentenced to prison in violation of their constitutional and statutory right to a fair trial before a fair and neutral trier of law, i. e., the judge.

-An investigation as to whether innocent Black male prisoners have been illegally sentenced to life in prison relative to the 1993 Lucasville Riots.

Ohio Supreme Court strips chief Cuyahoga County judge of power: Chief and unfair Cuyahoga County Judge John Russo loses authority-Part 2 of a multi-part series on Cuyahoga County public corruption: New Ohio law on seeking possible removal of a municipal court judge in a case for bias or conflict via the filing of an affidavit of prejudice takes authority to decide from chief Cuyahoga County Presiding and Administrative Judge John Russo, other chief common pleas judges in Ohio, and hands it to the chief justice of the Ohio Supreme Court, who also determines affidavits of prejudice filed against common pleas, probate, juvenile, domestic relations, and state appellate court judges....Most affidavits of prejudice are denied regardless of the merits and some judges complained of will retaliate, data show... Community activists, led by Cleveland activist Kathy Wray Coleman of the Imperial Women Coalition, lobbied the Cleveland NAACP for support and asked state legislators via state Rep Bill Patmon (D-10) of Cleveland to change the law but wanted a panel of judges and others to decide when a judge in Ohio is disqualified from hearing a case for bias or conflict....Coleman says she has since been further harassed by Chief Cuyahoga County Judge John Russo, who is White and leads a racist and sexist common pleas court fueled with corruption, malicious prosecutions, excessive criminal bonds, ineffective assistance of counsel to poor and Black defendants, and the mass incarceration of the Black community....By www.clevelandurbannews.com and www.kathywraycolemanonlinenewsblog.com, Ohio's most read digital Black newspapers....This is part 2 of a multi-part series on Cuyahoga County public corruption
