Dear Community,
My attorney in the malicious prosecution case before runaway Cleveland Municipal Court Judge Kathleen Ann Keough noted today of her retaliation following the December 19, 2009 protest by the Imperial Women at the home of Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson as to malfeasance around the murders of 11 Black women on Imperial Avenue and articles by me in Cleveland's Call and Post Newspaper.
According to attorney Wayne Kerek Keough had set up a hearing for Feb. 2, 2010 to lift the illegal warrant issued as to the illegal jury verdict of resisting arrest that she orchestrated even though sole White male arresting Peace Officer Gerald Pace did not accuse me of it, or testify at trial or otherwise. Kerek said the bailiff told him that the warrant lifting hearing was a trick to lure me before Keough so that she could try to sentence me instead of having a fair hearing to dismiss the illegal verdict. I then asked Kerek if sentencing hearings are held without notice and placement on the court docket and he said no, but in your case Keough is just trying to harass you at any cost.
We renew our position of opposition to any endorsement tomorrow by the Cuyahoga County Democratic Party of the seemingly corrupt and unfair Judge Keough and urge others to follow our lead. It would be a disservice to the community to replace Ohio Eighth District Court of Appeals Judge Christine McMonagle, who is retiring from the bench at the end of the year, with the likes of a judge like Keough. Judges McMonagle and Ann Dyke, also retiring at the end of the year, are a loss to the community and we need replacements to the appellate bench, where laws are made through precedent setting judicial decisions, that will be fair to Blacks, women, activists and others.
Join us tomorrow at the Cuyahoga County Democratic Party's Endorsement Meeting at 9 am at Euclid High School, 711 E 222nd St. in Euclid Ohio, as we distribute fliers warning Democrats of the pitfalls of endorsing Judge Keough, whom we believe has no respect for the Ohio Lawyer's Professional Code of Responsibility and the Ohio Judicial Code of Conduct, not to mention Blacks, women and Black journalists.
