  Clevelandurbannews.com and   Kathywraycolemanonlinenewsblog.com Staff article CLEVELAND, OHIO - The Cleveland City Council, at a meeting on Monday, approved a $100 million exit deal that allows the Cleveland Browns to leave the city and relocate to a yet-to-be-built stadium complex in Brook Park by 2028.  Council voted 13-2 to approve the measure, with Councilpersons Michael Polensek and Brian Kazy voting no and Joe Jones and Stephanie Howse-Jones absent from Monday's council meeting. Supported by Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb, the $100 million settlement with Browns owners Jimmy and Dee Haslam and the city of Cleveland is slated to be used for a Cleveland lakefront redevelopment. The agreement also calls for the Haslams to pay for the demolition of the existing Huntington Bank Field Stadium in downtown Cleveland, where the Browns currently play games, as well as tens of millions toward community projects in the coming years. Clevelandurbannews.com and   Kathywraycolemanonlinenewsblog.com Staff article LAS VEGAS, Nevada- Led by quarterback Shedeur Sanders (pictured), who is Black, the Cleveland Browns beat the Las Vegas Raiders 24-10 on Sunday at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada, near the Las Vegas Strip, ending the team's 13-game, on-the-road losing streak. After serving as a backup for the first nine games of the season, Sanders, 23, made his debut in Week 11 as a backup against the Baltimore Ravens after Dillon Gabriel  suffered a concussion. He went 4-of-16 passing for 47 yards and an interception in a 7-point loss to the Ravens. Notably, he is the son of NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders and was selected by the Browns in the 5th round of the 2025 draft. Legal experts say the president cannot simply "run" New York City, as it would be unconstitutional.   Context of the Threats Mayoral Election:  During the 2025 New York City mayoral race, Donald Trump expressed strong opposition to the Democratic socialist candidate Zohran Mamdani. Griffin as council president for another four-year term beginning in January of 2026. Griffin is the elected councilman for Ward 6 on the city's largely Black east side. All council members-elect participated in the caucus meeting on Friday, and Griffin received 15 votes in favor of his reelection. According to unofficial results from the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections, Democratic Cleveland Mayor Justin M.
