Ohio Lieutenant Governor and GOP gubernatorial candidate Mary Taylor meets in Cleveland with Black activists, community members in the historic Glenville neighborhood, an event sponsored by the Inner City Republican Movement and led by community activist Donna Walker Brown, who said that the three male Republican candidates for governor, namely Attorney General Mike DeWine, Secretary of State Jon Husted and Congressman Jim Renacci, did not respond to her invitation to meet in the inner city of Cleveland with Black people....Taylor said that, if elected governor, she will bring more jobs to Ohio and will work to 'break the cycle of muti-generational poverty"....While few in attendance at the event, including Walker Brown, back President Trump and his policies, as Taylor does, they said they appreciate that the lieutenant governor took the time to meet with them in the Black community when her male Republican gubernatorial hopefuls would not....
