Editor's Note: Current Cleveland Municipal Clerk of Court Earle. B. Turner should be voted out of office for documented malfeasance that includes withholding driver's licence renewals and car registrations on camera tickets in violation of state law that precludes such, falsifying case docket data to hurt appeals of Blacks maliciously prosecuted by the city of Cleveland, defaming Blacks and women on the Internet with non-existing convictions in retaliation for lawsuits alleging malicious prosecution by the city and city officials, and stealing the bond money of Blacks and women without the hearing required by the Local Rules of the Cleveland Municipal Court. And Turner comes to work less that a fourth of the time that his subordinates are scheduled to work.

Endorsements by The Imperial Women for Cleveland Municipal Clerk of Court and contested judicial races for Cleveland, East Cleveland and South Euclid Municipal Courts, and the three state issues on the Nov. ballot for voters to decide, are as follows:
Issue 1- Judicial Retirement Age For Ohio Judges
Constitutional Amendment- A proposed amendment on the Nov. ballot for voters to decide that, if passed, would increase the maximum age for elected Ohio judges to retire from 70 to 75, eliminates the general assembly’s authority to establish courts of conciliation, and eliminates the governor's authority to appoint members to an Ohio Supreme Court commission.
Vote No. on Issue 1
Issue 2-Repeal of Senate Bill 5 (SB 5)
A state issue put on the ballot after unions across the state collected necessary signatures to seek to repeal and eliminate a yet-to-take effect state law dubbed Senate Bill 5 that was passed by the Republican controlled state legislature earlier this year that dismantles public sector collective bargaining and, among other provisions, eliminates binding arbitration and the right to strike for fair working conditions and wages of union members across the state of Ohio. Vote No on Issue 2
Issue 3: Health Care Freedom Act
Constitutional Amendment- A proposed amendment, also on the November ballot that, if passed, would prohibit any local, state or federal law to require Ohio residents to purchase health insurance as currently required by the federal health care reform law. It is a referendum on the federal health care overhaul and even if it were to win it is considered moot because federal law in this instance trumps state law, legal experts say. Vote No on Issue 3
For the non-partisan election for the two contested seats for judge of the Cleveland Municipal Court:
Vote for Judge Angela Stokes. Judge Stokes should be reelected to the bench, Judge Stokes has a program to assist women to take control of their lives that come before her dubbed the HOPE Program and two of the 11 Black women victimized and murdered by since convicted serial killer Anthony Sowell were among the program participants. Data also show that the judge follows the law more regularly than a select number of her judicial counterparts on Cleveland's judicial bench. (Stokes' endorsements include the Call and Posts Newspaper, the Cuyahoga County Democratic Party, U.S. Rep. Marcia L. Fudge, Cleveland City Council Wards 1-19, and a majority of Cleveland's Black state legislators)
Vote for Pinkey Car, an assistant Cuyahoga County prosecutor who gave closing arguments in the Anthony Sowell Capital Murder trial of 11 Black women and won for the State of Ohio on 82 of 83 counts. (Endorsements for Carr include the Plain Dealer and Call and Post Newspapers, U.S. Rep. Marcia Fudge, a majority of Blacks from Cleveland on Cleveland City Council and in the state legislature, the Carl Stokes Brigade, other grassroots factions, unions, and police, including the Black Shield organization)
"Carr brings an infectious energy that tilts the decision in her favor. On a court known for innovation, Carr's work ethic and strong personality would be an excellent fit....." The Cleveland Plain Dealer Newspaper in endorsing Carr for judge of the Cleveland Municipal Court.
For the election for clerk of the Cleveland Municipal Court:
Vote for Phil Paverini Jr. A young talented spirit, Phil Paverini Jr. would bring more credibility to the Cleveland Municipal Court and is not likely to do the things currently being done to undermine innocent people that are maliciously prosecuted by the city of Cleveland. (Paverini Jr.'s endorsements include the Plain Dealer) Note:Current Clerk of Court Earle.
For the election for judge of the East Cleveland Municipal Court:
Vote for Judge Sandra Walker. Judge Walker has proven to be a credible judge and an asset to the East Cleveland community. (Judge Walker's endorsements include both the Plain Dealer and Call and Post Newspapers).
For the election for judge of the South Euclid Municipal Court:
Vote for Gale Williams-Byers. Williams-Beyers is a scholarly attorney with the integrity and legal background to be an excellent judge (Attorney Williams -Byers endorsements include the Plain Dealer and Call and Post).
