Cleveland Mayor Justin M. Bibb CLEVELAND, Ohio – Cleveland Mayor Justin M. Bibb is proposing a new paid parental leave policy that will benefit employees who experience a new child life event, the city announced in a press release on Monday. The proposed policy, a proposed city ordinance, has been submitted to city council and will be presented at council meeting Monday evening. If approved, the policy will be available to all full-time, non-union city of Cleveland employees, and to union employees as negotiations continue with the city's collective bargaining units.
