Funeral services announced for Jeanette 'Jay' Stokes, wife of former Ohio congressman Louis Stokes, who died at 83....Louis Stokes represented Ohio's largely Black 11th congressional district, which includes Cleveland, and was the first Black congressperson from Ohio....He retired from congress in 1998 and died in 2015....He was the brother and only sibling of the late Carl B. He was 90-years-old. Women's March Cleveland head organizer Kathy Wray Coleman, pictured second from left behind the Women's March Cleveland banner, leads thousands of women across the Carnegie Bridge in Cleveland, Ohio on Sat., Oct 2. Cleveland's march drew thousands and was one of the largest marches in the country. It was also was one of more than 600 sister marches held nationwide on Oct. 2 under the umbrella of Women's March National to protest recent attacks on abortion and reproductive rights by Republican-dominated state legislatures across the country, including in Texas and  Ohio.
