Freddie Gray case: Hung jury in trial of Baltimore Officer William Porter....By CNN.Com

Shoichet , CNN Updated 0205 GMT (1005 HKT) December 17, 2015 Baltimore (CNN) They're on opposite sides of a controversial case that's sparked protests and left a city on edge. But Baltimore police Officer  William Porter  and a lawyer representing Freddie Gray's family seemed to agree on at least one thing after jurors said they were deadlocked and a judge declared a mistrial in the case against Porter Wednesday. "It's not over yet," Porter told The Baltimore Sun in a brief phone conversation Wednesday evening,  according to the newspaper . Bill Murphy, an attorney for Gray's family, gave a similar assessment to reporters. "This hung jury does not mean it's the end of Officer Porter's case," he said. Cleveland  Browns starting quarterback Johnny Manziel Pat McManamon ESPN Staff Writer CLEVELAND, Ohio - The chants of "Johnny, Johnny" got loud with 8:48 left. Cleveland Browns  fans were pleased with what they got from  Johnny Manziel on Sunday. The Browns had to be as well. Manziel returned after missing two games because of a disciplinary matter and guided the Browns to a  24-10 win  over the  San Francisco 49ers , helping them snap a seven-game losing streak by throwing for 270 yards and a touchdown. He also picked up where he left off in his 372-yard game against Pittsburgh. Tamir Rice family experts say fatal Cleveland police shooting of the Black child was excessive force, and is unjustifiable, and they want to testify before the Cuyahoga County grand jury hearing the matter for potential criminal charges against police....Corruption is rampant in the Cleveland Police Department, Rice family experts say....White Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Tim McGinty, a former common pleas judge whom greater Cleveland community activists, clergy, and some Black leaders demand resign, will not say if he will present the Rice family attorneys' expert reports to the grand jury....McGinty, however, presented prejudicial reports from his handpicked experts in support of police to the grand jury without question....The controversy and McGinty's prejudicial selection of what data goes before a grand jury raises questions as to the constitutionality of the county grand jury process in Ohio, particularly as it relates to Black people, Rice family attorneys and their experts allege....
