Greater Cleveland community activists prepare to picket the home of Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Tim McGinty in Cleveland, Ohio on the city's west side after a county grand jury, per McGinty's recommendation, refused to indict two White Cleveland cops involved in the shooting death of 12-year-old Tamir Rice. Protesters are also calling for county voters to vote McGinty, who is White, out of office this year as he seeks a second four- year term. The Cuyahoga County Democratic Party blocked an endorsement last month of the embattled prosecutor.  Congresswoman Marcia L. Fudge (D-OH), a Warrensville Heights Democrat    who has accused Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Tim McGinty of tainted the grand jury out come in the Tamir Rice case. Cleveland Browns fire head coach Mike Pettine and general manager Ray Farmer

Mike Pettine (left) and Ray Farmer CLEVELAND, Ohio -The  Cleveland Browns  have fired coach Mike Pettine and general manager Ray Farmer following a 3-13 season. Pettine went 10-22 in two years and dropped 18 of his final 21 games after a promising 7-4 start in 2014. The Browns announced Pettine's and Farmer's dismissals shortly after the team's  28-12 home loss  to the rival  Pittsburgh Steelers , who wiggled into the AFC playoffs. "We greatly appreciate Ray's and Mike's dedication and hard work while with the Cleveland Browns," Browns owners Dee and Jimmy Haslam said in a  letter to fans . "We've made this decision because we don't believe our football team was positioned well for the future. Natalie Cole, the daughter of jazz legend Nat King Cole, who carved out her own success with R&B hits like "Our Love" and "This Will Be" before triumphantly intertwining their legacies to make his "Unforgettable" their signature hit through technological wizardry, has died. She was 65. While Cole was a Grammy winner in her own right, she had her greatest success in 1991 when she re-recorded her father's classic hits — with him on the track — for the album "Unforgettable ... With Love." It became a multiplatinum smash and garnered her multiple Grammy Awards, including album of the year. Cole died Thursday evening at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles due to complications from ongoing health issues, her family said in a statement. And the refrain of the 50-plus women has been virtually the same: He drugged me; he sexually assaulted me -- or he tried to. Cosby has vehemently denied any wrongdoing.
