Fudge (OH-11), whose representative base includes parts of Cleveland and its eastern suburbs, has issued a press statement regarding the detonation of a bomb yesterday in Israel in the area of a crowded bus stop in Jerusalem that killed 1 person and injured others, including a Cleveland Hts. woman who had arrived from the states to visit her sister. Leah Green, who is Jewish, stepped off the bus right in the area of the explosion, authorities said. At least 49 others were injured. "I was saddened to learn that one of my constituents, a 19 year old Cleveland Hts High School student, was injured in the March 23 terrorist bombing in Jerusalem," said Fudge. "I offer my deepest condolences to the families of those killed and wishes for a complete and speedy recovery for all of the people who were injured.
