Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson, whose leadership served to land the 2016 Republican National Convention in the majority Black major American city of Cleveland. The third term mayor is the city's third Black mayor behind Carl B. Stokes in 1967, the first Black mayor of a major American city, and Michael R.
