CLEVELAND URBAN NEWS,COM- CLEVELAND, Ohio-The Cleveland Cavaliers, led by the 'Big 3' of LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love, beat the Detroit Pistons, 106-101, Sunday in the opening game of their first- round  Eastern Conference playoff series. 

 Cavs coach Tyronn Lue, who is Black, said that his strategy for the series is "to be aggressive and attack."

 It was his Lue's first playoffs game as a head NBA coach, and he brought home a win.

Game  2 is Wednesday at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland with tip off at  8:00 pm ET.

James, Love and Irving combined for 81 points in Sunday's pivotal game.

 The Cavs outscored the Pistons 32-23 in the fourth quarter, and when it counted most.

 James posted 22 points and 11 assists, Irving had 31 points and six assists, and Love finished with 28 points and  two assists.

Love had an exceptional game with 10-of-22 from the field and added four three pointers, two of them during the fourth quarter.

It was being resilient, " Irving told reporters after the game on the team win. "In the playoffs a win is a win." 

Irving said that "all that matters now is winning."

Cleveland lost the championship last year to the Golden State Warriors with both Love and Irving out with injuries, Love missing the entire series and Irving existing in Game 1 of the NBA Finals with a knee injury.

The Cavs clinched the Eastern Conference's No 1 seed on April 12 with a 109-94 win over the Atlanta Hawks and, in turn, garnered home-court advantage for the playoffs.

Ousted University Heights Mayor Susan Infeld, whom voters booted out of office Tuesday evening following claims of racism against Black residents, and alleged theft in office, and because she is running a theft ring in the city of illegal foreclosures on the homes of Cuyahoga County residents along with a corrupt and racist police department that she leads as safety director.
